Hehe heh
Thankyou all,
We will certainly be trying to be as eco as possible however money is an issue, but we will try our best.

I am already planning what flowers I need to get going ready for next summer!

Congratulations!

I was thinking about this sort of thing the other day, most people have a gift list and most people shell out a fortune for a wedding. Why not combine the two? Get a list out long before the big day and ask for people to cook the meal, lend you a car, make you a dress, play at the reception. Just a thought!

or you could go to work till lunch time, strip all the balloons and loo roll of your moter bike  ride home shower put on a dress ... that was the weird bit, I am female by the way :flower: Get wed with two witnesses and a gang of friends who turned up uninvited :geek: then get on with the washing ... we are still here 30 odd years later ... save a fortune.

How ever you do it flower and MR ... have a great time getting there and on the day and for ever after :dave: :dave: :dave:

Well done and lots of congratulations to you both! Maybe you could do a speical thread on the Selfsufficientish wedding so that the rest of us who are heading that way can pick up a few tips!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Heh heh thanks so much for all your replies! Really made me smile.

Well I want to get my mum to make the cake, my sister to make the dress (she is doing fashion at uni) A lady my boyfriend works with says she will cater for free if we buy the food.
My fiance is part of the Ford Focus RS owners club, and we want them to escort us, with us in a white one (he is a real piston head)
So there are a few to be going on with!!
I am sooooo excited!
Wooo!
