Sounds like she's probably made a little piggy of herself and got scours(the runs) Cut back on some of the feed a bit. Does she eat hay, that will help. If she still scouring in a couple of days call your vet, she may have a worm burden, and may need worming, best to get fecs done, or it could a whole manner of things. Just watch out for any change in behaviour.

I agree that if she is still like this for a couple of days then the vet needs to have a look. A few of mine have the runs at the moment - think it's the fresh grass growth. We checked them for worm eggs and they were fine. So far they have cleared up quite quickly. The main think to watch for though is fly strike. If you can keep her back end clean then do this. If not then you can get a spray to kill off flies -not organic I know, but I would rather do this than deal with fly strike - not pleasant.

Hi
How's your lamb doing now? I've had similar problems since I reluctantly became a sheep owner in Feb this year. Since then I've had to deal with erysipelas, orf, coccidiosis and lice and books don't seem to be very helpful when you only have two. If you haven't done so already take some poo along to the vet for a worm egg count (WEC), that should tell you if anything serious is going on. You can use this opportunity to pump the vet for all the information you can get (make a list of all your questions beforehand to get your money's worth). My two are doing fine now, but I'm still totally paranoid checking their poo, looking up their bums each day and rushing outside at 5.30am if I hear them baa-ing. Time consuming but I love them both to bits - guess I won't be eating them!
How do you add a picture - I'm useless at this.
