Hi there and welcome I live in s w france. are you glad you moves to the south of spain ? sounds lovly if a bit hot in summer. You must have a good winter growing season ?

Hi there,
i wonder has anyone any recipes for the above, or known here in france as creme de cassis. And can i do it with say rum, vodka ? I would appreciate any tips !

Hi nyds, I think you should be OK, it's really only the cockerel that seems to upset people. have never lived anywhere without chooks, used to keep some on an allotment when I couldn't have them at the house. :cheers:

Hello mountaingirl, yes there was a cow barn, which over I don't know how many years ago was a house, but you wouldn't think it, 3walls, bad roof, no windows/doors /floors ........so quite rustic ! Hi glowlita, I'm new here as well. I used to keep chickens in my back yard in town, as long as there was no cockerel I got away with it ! people never complained about trafic noise, but as soon as the cockerel would crow, well !!!

It's a ouple of hectares, which was badly overgrown when we bought it, briars 20 foot tal etc. so we have most of it cleared and planted up with fruit trees, trees for wood and also have small animals, e.g. sheep, pigs, rabbits. Also keep hens/ducks etc.

Hi diver, thanks for the welcome , Im' an hour north of Pau, if you know the area ? What do I grow ! well almost everything I like ! I love fresh fruit and veg, so everything from spuds to peaches !!
