Re: Finished Quilt top

That is GORGEOUS! Because of the detail, I'm thinking you could do some simple tie quilting; basicly a hand sewn knot through the basted layers at strategic points (gorgeous jewel-toned threads; yum).
Well done!

Re: Get rid of mould?

Bundles of chalk sticks can soak the moisture from the air. You just put them out to dry and keep using. To kill the mould spores, use 1/4 tsp oil of cloves to 1 litre of water (no stronger, it doesn't work then) in a spray bottle. Mist over surfaces, including clothes, leave 24 hours. Then clean ha...

Mrs F: If you're ever near an asian (in oz that's chinese, vietnamese etc more than Indian' Pakistani etc) grocery or supply store you can get a reasonably priced stone pestle and mortar. Don't know if that applies in the UK.

Started discussing Gillian with a few friends and the conversation deteriorated into "I'll check out your poo if you check out mine". :pale:
She's wothwhile for that alone. Then again, knowing something about sensible eating means you don't have to take her too seriously.

You can try leaving food baits (I used oats) mixed with plaster of paris or cement. It sets in their stomach. If you are using poison make sure it isn't the single dose to kill type or the dog could be affected if it eats the carcasses. Multi-dose (safer option) is something like Warfarin and won't ...

Big Chinese cleaver, steak knife for tom.s etc, OH and his series of japanese sharpening stones.
Everyone thinks that if you live with a chef you get lots of great meals cooked for you, but he's always at work cooking for others. His sharpening skills are legendary though!

My sister and I had both of those fabrics as sheets and pillow slips. Must find out if Mum still has them, I could see myself wearing something like those outfits!(says the lady wearing a winter hat with ears on it)
