The change in attitude in adopting ZWP affects dealings with friends and family. They all are still using plastic bags as I used to and I smile at their actions. One thing is absolutely certain plastic bags (of every possible type today) are a thing of the past for me. Turning your back on the vici...

A great today, Saturday. Beautiful day for shopping. I visited 4 shops for weekly meat, rolls, cakes for friend's visit, few days provisions, daily paper and more Nambari teabags. What rounded it off was not one scrap of waste packaging! If only this occurred at the local superstore for bigger item...

It is an interesting topic because it is a possibility for the future. After all we are meat/fat/bone and that is what the Bokashi uses! As for exploding ornaments, I think all aspects would be thoroughly investigated. Riff_Raff's commune thing would make a good topic. It's not an interesting topic...

Children do not have to be told the whole truth! When mature enough they will learn that their Granny had decided to allow a natural process to return her body to nature in a useful form. The red run-off could be tastefully encased in a crystal ornament or if preferred used to fertilise a family ga...

Re: Free Fresh Yeast
Spent some time with a friend this week (helping decorate her bathroom!), she is a past master on bread and gets up in the wee small hours to bake. She uses fresh yeast and apparently if you ask at T***o's instore bakery they will give you an ounce free! she said to ask one of the younger ones as y...

Yep I did wonder, I mean Why are there not more people lobbying in London with their 10 year waiting lists? Persistance ( war of attrition) pays off with the council. I had been chasing a plot for a year gone February. I was promised it verbally in February 07 but then the allotment officer gave it...
