We have a problem with storage but it is good to limit the amount of stuff to just the stuff you really need or want and ...

Re: Could you live in a motor home or travel trailer?

If you ever do decide to sell up and drive off into the sunset I would reconsider the whole motorhome thing and go for a large caravan We have lived in a motor home for the last seven years and it can be annoying at times. You get to where you want to go and you have set everything up then you decid...

Re: The Ish competiton discussion thread

No worries I will have a go at future comps My tip was this. Don't cut up all of your credit cards if you are trying to go back to just using cash. It is always good to have an emergency zero monthly charge credit card just in case. but to stop you using it on frivolous things you need to put it in ...

Re: Cyclists against the world!

When cycling in traffic you have to take control. If you are cycling in an area where there isn't enough room for a motorist to overtake or it would be risky for a motorist to overtake then you need to position yourself further out into the road to prevent the motorist from passing. If you tuck your...

Re: Cycle to work

I cycle to work everyday pretty much and I love it

Cornwall is very hilly but you get used to it after a while I cycle a bike with only one gear and it is OK

You should start out doing it a couple of times a week and build up

Good luck, you will love it

Re: Could you live in a motor home or travel trailer?

I have lived in a van for the last seven years and I love it

The van is coming to the end of it's life so we are going to buy an American Airstream Caravan and live in that instead

Ultimately we will then move down to Portugal and buy a small piece of land so we can park up and grow old

Rejuvenating old car batteries

I read somewhere on the web that there was a way of rejuvenating old car batteries so you could get a few more year work out of them.

It involved a special kind of charger and a process called de-sulfinating or something.

I can't seem to find anything on it now

Anyone got any ideas
