whats the recipe for cherry wine wabbit?

as a follow up on last years champagne - as in previous posts - I made 2 batches - one with dried flowers the first with fresh - the first batch produced 10 Champagne bottles - and were absolutly amazing - very clear very fizzy and very strong - the last one got drunk last friday :-)- the second bat...

Mike - Ive made a second batch - as mentioned earlier on this thread - it is in both demijohns nearly clear now but still bubbling like very fizzy pop but with very fine bubbles

Any thoughts?

I saw some of those cookie Ingredient jars last year - they are an excellent idea

I wouldnt mind finding out where that secret cherry garden is ;-) how about a personal message or email :-)

Christmas pudding is a good shout - we are definately putting xmas cake in - I need to find some cherries for cherry brandy

Actually - panic over - bottled into plastc bottles - will leave for 5 or 6 days and then transfer into Champagne bottle with a half teaspoon of sugar - unless anyone thinks thats a bad idea

Oh dear - strained to demijohn and added the sugar solution last night - woke up this morning - no bubbles :-( whats happened?

what should a hydrometer read before bottling for a second fermentation?

Someone was talking about Cherry Wine a few weeks ago - try going back over the posts - sorry I cant help any further - I will be really interested in how it turns out though - the idea of cherry wine sounds fantastic.
