Hello, from a newbie

Post: # 100533Post Cherry_blossom »

Hiya all, :flower:
I am Xe, I live with my hubby (Ben) and Son (Evan, 2) in Cornwall.
We are trying to be as green as we can, we moved to a flat last year with a reasonable size garden (40ft x 37ft ish) it was also a blank canvas.

I am the gardener, and am determined to get it nicely productive.
I have put in a greenhouse and we had loads of tomatos last year! However, I wanted to be a little more serious about it this year and have got a good few fruit trees,
(apple, pear, blueberries, cherry, red, white & black currents, raspberries, strawberries (and goji berries i've just put in this week...)) and a little veg, (tomatos, courgettes, spinach, peas, lettuce)...
I've had a good go at carrots but I can't seam to get them to grow, or at least the million sluggs in my garden love them more than anything else!

I would like to get some chickens, and possibly a bee hive, and have big plans for the next year, depending on money of course!

ooo and I just started off some mushrooms...my hubby came home with this box last night and said, "here you go"

Thank you for listening, and I hope to learn and share for years to come.
Take care
Xe
