Hello from James and Kate

Post: # 100455Post JamesnKate »

:hello2:
Hi folks,
we've been looking around the site for about a week now, and thought we ought to introduce ourselves!
We are James and Kate, we live in Lancashire, have 4 kids, aged from 5-19. 1 dog, 2 fish, 4 chickens (plus 12 eggs in the incubator...)
We've just dug up most of our garden to make it into a new veggie plot, and we have a greenhouse made out of old factory windows that were being taken out!
We're also hoping to get some ducks and quails in the very near future!

In our ideal world we'd have a smallholding, but in reality we live in a semi with a fairly large garden! but we'd swap it for a couple of acres and a static caravan! lol!

So, I think that's pretty much us in a nutshell!

looking forward to getting to know you!

James and Kate

Hello JamesnKate, and Welcome to ish.

Your setup and ideas are pretty much the same as ours, (1 dog,1 hampster, 9 fish, 5 chickens (plus 5 eggs under a broody) oh yeah, and one 4yrold, ( going on 19! )
with all the knowledge on this site, the future is really exciting isn't it.

Good luck with everything you do.

Hiya James and Kate, welcome to the Ishers!

What kind of information are you after re British meadows? I suppose there are massive differences, depending on where you are in the country... But I am a member of the British Grassland Society, maybe they can help you.

Hello James and Kate and co, and I suppose a static caravan is bigger than a nutshell
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.
