soft potatoes

Post: # 108576Post andiewill »

Hi All

i have planted some spuds in a tyre a while back and the leafs are starting to show through after a long wait, and quite soon i am ready for the second tyre to go on top and plant the remiander of the spuds i have left.

the remainder of the spuda are chitted quite nicely, but some of the spuds are soft inside when you prod them.

my question is it safe to plant these or should i plant some fresher ones ?

Soft's OK - as long as they're not totally squishy.
