Hello Everyone!

Post: # 10950Post flowercarole »

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this fantastic site and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Carole from the UK, and came across this site from a friend of mine.

I'm really keen on being healthy etc so I set up a website about a year ago for people who want to create their own fruit smoothies without having to pay ridiculous prices for them in the shops. So of course I'm always telling people about it as it's totally free to use and I want people to feel free to use it as many times as they want. Anyway, if you fancy having a nosey it's http://www.flowercarole.co.uk

Any comments good or bad would be much appreciated......

Anyway, I'll sign off now as I really want to have another good look around this site and get some good ideas for being selfsufficient and I need some tips for my Can-o-Worms compost bin!

So I'll say good-bye for now
C.

Hi Carole

Welcome to the selfsufficientish site - I think your smoothie site is great and will be trying a few recipes!

In fact - I've got mangoes and buttermilk so I'm going to try the mango and ginger smoothie in the morning!!!

Cheers

Hello there

Must admit I did check out your site when you first signed up, there is not another site with just smoothies so I guess it fills the gap. Good choice on name though as you could put other stuff on too if you so desired.

Anyway welcome to the site, look forward to trying one of your smoothies.

G'Day Carole and welcome to the site!

I am not big on smoothies myself, but I am sure that they are popular enought to make your site a goer!

Rice Dream

Post: # 11031Post Dave »

Hello Flowercarole, I like the site, it looks very stylish. I used to co-run a mobile juice bar in Oxford we'd use rice dream (rice milk) instead of milk in our smoothies so vegans could have them too. Almond milk was especially good too.
We experimented with all sorts of things, watercress juice was one I won't repeat. We made a good summer party smooty (which we didn't sell) with Baileys, bannanas and Rice Dream.
Anyway great site and I'll be trying some of your recipies out soon-I've sent the link to my mate in Oxford who's still got the juice bar.

Hi Carole and welcome!

Smoothies are more a summer thing for me - I'm sure I'll try some out once it gets warmer... Or should I say if?

Smoothies or should it be Winter Stew?

Post: # 11055Post flowercarole »

Hi Ina

You are so right about 'if it gets warmer' - we've had snow here today in Manchester, UK.

Mmmm maybe I should be thinking of doing some winter stew recipes instead ..... brrrrrrrr...... freezing here!

Surely, Andy, you mean who can remember voting no.
