Woodburning stove

Post: # 89942Post Blue »

Hello all I have tried so many time in all kinds of places to try to get my hands on a wood burning stove. I've tried the Ipswich freecycle so far no luck also tried on other forums still nothing.

Could I not get a new one I may hear you ask? well no as funds at this time ar tight. But if I could get one I wouldn't mind paying a fair price to whoever.

I would really love this as at this time we have gas central heating and that costs a bomb :bom:
Thanks for your time

Hi ,I know you posted a while ago but I am quite new,I have a parkray chiltern cumbria 111 multi fuel stove it will heat up to 10 radiators and a hot water cylinder and will burn wood no problem we have spent £250 on new parts for it so that is what we are asking for it.They are £800 new.We are not far from Ipswich.
Grow it,make it ,eat it, drink it and sleep well!

Have you considered building your own Kachelofen (thermal mass stove)? They're made from cut up paving slabs. I first saw these in permaculture magazine but have found similar here;-
