Recipe for Tomatoe Jam?

Post: # 116057Post Louiseh »

Hi

When in Spain, my spanish friends gave me a jar of 'Tomatoe Jam' last year, and it was fabulous, infact if they had not told me, I would never have guesssed it was made from tomatoes, it was so sweet and yummy.

This year in spain, we have a fabulous crop of our own tomatoes, and I would love to make some jam from them, but I cannot find a recipe and I am not experienced enough just to guess.

Does anybody have a recipe?

Many thanks as always

Googling "tomato jam" brought a few hits. Here's one: http://foodgeeks.com/recipes/type/8,5,1 ... _jam.phtml

Maybe there's something appealing amongst those recipes.
