Home made stollen

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me how long home made stollen will keep wrapped in grease proof paper,I would like to give it as gifts on the big day but not sure how long before I can get away with making it,
Any ideas gladly received,

I'd think you could do them this weekend, but I can't find my German cookbook with the recipe (and maybe the keeping time) - I shall keep looking

I,ve made 3 smaller sized ones and they are just proving ready for the oven.
Logically wrapped in greaseproof and kept cool they should be fine, shouldn't they?
Time will tell.
