Re: Anyone in Ireland?
Camile - I'm watching you......
No, just kidding!!
What side of Glen you on? I'm a 5 mins drive towards Williamstown... was in Glen yesterday at the vets... then again today... vets again!!
Still trying to get my bearings as to where to go for..... (insert anything you can think of here!)
Anyways, if you fancy a cuppa, give me a shout!
And if you're an expert on bog digging, we could use a few tips on how to start our 2 bogs off this year - they've not been touched in about 12 years or so..... and we still haven't found the 2nd one... we're off with the map at the weekend though, just to check how bad it is.... fingers crossed, it won't be too bad
Our neighbour next door says 'first dig a kitstch'....... yeah righto.....!

Re: Anyone in Ireland?
Good morning,
I'm about 5 miles towards Creggs ...
for the vet, we usually go to Declan too .. I think he isn't too bad .. although on the dear side ...
but we are friend with a vet that used to work with him so we barely go to any vet at all now ..
I'm treating my animals naturally so that avoids loads of costs ..
As for the bog I'm no expert at all .. but ours hadn't been cut for a good few years (could be 10) .. and we simply rang the man that cuts it (most probably be the same as yours) .. and he simply came and cutted it .. the machinery they have makes way for them gently but surely ..
but we are looking into selling our cutting rights this year to the wildlife crowd because the turf is an
enormous amount of work and would rather leave the bog alone .. .
and indeed I wouldn't mind a cuppa one of those days ..
and don't hesitate to ask about where to find anything .. I'm starting to have clue ... but usually get lost going getting there !
and I've been nosy and had a look at your blog .. if you want an idea about chicken housing .. come down and have a look at ours .. we have plenty here ... be it housing or birds and could sort you out with a rooster and hens .. including broody birds ...
and in the meantime, we can always come and buy our eggs .. proper old fashioned free range ..
