Greetings from london!
Hi, guys!
Greetings from London! I’m new here Just joined I’ve just started to get in to the whole grow your own, and brew you own booze! I haven’t lived self sufficient as of yet but due to the credit crunch and other such stuff we felt that maybe if we Turned back to nature and grew our own it would be much better and awarding way to live! I’m always on the look out for hints and tips on how to live a greener life I want to start by brewing my own wine and getting a little vegetable patch going in the garden if any guys have any hints or tips on this I would be grateful!

Hello and Welcome!
Re: Greetings from london!
Welcome Mizzy! How much garden do you have? When I was in East London our house had a railway line running along the end of the property, so our gardens were longer than those of the houses on the other side of the road, which meant good space for pots and tubs along the side wall outside the kitchen (all the herbs went there) as well as on the patio directly at the back of the house. Planting in layers meant you could fit more in and still be able to sit out (or have a nice space for a couple of chooks!)
Anyway, enjoy your stay at ISH!

Thank you for warm welcome guys!
Our garden I would say is long yet kind of narrow at the end we have my b/fs studio were he makes music, Most of the garden at the top is patio over.. We have from the previous owners 2 left over like beer barrow tubs. There full of weeds atm but going to give them a clean and scrub down.. And use them as the herb gardens lol as for the veggie patch its self I’m hopeing to start that once the seedlings grow just under the seating area there’s going to be a lot of work involved, But If anything give me something to keep my mind on!
