Planting potatoes when? I am confused!

i put mine in today as soon as i came home from school and the weather is very mild and mostly dry, fine weather i suppose just why 2 fields down the road full off potatoes are being dug today.

Planted mine too, two weeks earlier than I've done in the past but basically the soil is warm enough and workable - sometimes it is too wet to sow much before April. It does seem very strange to be watering rows of seeds in March though, and plants in pots. I keep forgetting cos I'm not used to doing it so early in the year!
