3. www.mothering.com/discussions - huge forum mainly US but discusses everything anything mainly to do with "alternative" parenting (cloth nappies, breast feeding, natural birthing etc), but there are sections for green living and gardening as well.
baby-loving, earth-digging, bread-baking, jam-making, off-grid, off-road 21st century domestic goddess....

http://www.growveg.info/ is great for any gardening info, it's also got good recipe and frugal living sections.
