boy rabbit having babies!?!!

Post: # 153577Post JamesnKate »

Crikey, just got in from checking on the animals, chickens are all fine, cassie the rabbit's happy... but Stewart who we were given about 3 weeks ago by a freecycler who'd found him had made 'himself' a beautiful nest and lined it with 'his' fur...
me thinks we may have got our first attempt at sexing a rabbit very wrong!!!
Won't the children be suprised when they get home from school!
Sorry, had to share as I'm quite excited!!

Fab. We had a mating pair given to us, though they were both the opposite sex IYKWIM! Have fun with the littles.

I'm having to intensively care a couple of mine (4.5 weeks) as they've got mysteriously very sick today....fingers crossed.

Some doe's that are in season, make nests not purely for the fact that they are pregnant. Are there other signs thats she is pregnant?

Good luck

Fingers crossed for your babies Clara!! I maybe able to help if you can explain whats wrong with them. I kept rabbits for 15 years, but we are having a rest at the moment.
