This isn't easily available in France but I found some in an Asian shop so bought some, because I know I've come across some recipes that call for it. Except now that I've got it I don't know what to do with it!!!

I'm sure I saw it in some chutney recipes or maybe cheesecake?

It was incredible cheap (€1.14 for 250g) which is a darn site cheaper than fresh ginger!
