Brilliant news from the Conseil Generale De Maine-et-Loire! :cheers:
the put this sign up yesterday, and it explains why the lazy beggars haven't been cutting the verges, they're letting the wild flowers grow! :flower:
We get loads of orchids and other wild flowers, so this is really good news!
The smiley face was my contribution though, couldn't help myself... :angel12:
As I ping from tree to tree I wonder... why do I seem to have transformed into a pinging tree-dwelling thing?

That is good news, although only if it's not tiny windy country lanes where not cutting the verges blocks your view and can be dangerous. Round here the verges get cut but all the wild flowers can flower in the ditches and banks.

I'm going to have to move your posting by the way because this section is purely for people writing articles which may go on the main site!
