Can you freeze spinach and salad?

Post: # 156593Post mattphillips78 »

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you can freeze spinach and other salads? I have a lot of spinach at home and don't want it to go to waste. My gut feeling is it wouldn't be great after thawing. Has anyone tried this or any tips?

Thank you for your help in advance,

Matthew Phillips

I think you can freeze spinach ok if it's been cooked but I once left some salad leaves in a plastic container too close to the icebox at the the top of the fridge and when it defrosted it was just a soggy mess! :?
