Can you put cooked food into a wormery? I've heard of people putting food scraps in a wormery, can this actually be done? If so does that mean you can put other compost material in with it too?

the only thing i wouldnt put in a wormery is meat or bone anything which will compost they will eat if stuff can be shreded first it helps them eat it also whatch out for the acid content and depending on your type of wormery the fluid level but as long as they have an area of neutral bedding to live in they can survive in most inviroments and eat most stuff
try hard mean well and never give up

According to the bumph(?) we got with ours, you can put any and all food in - even bones. The worms erm worm their way it all eventually
The only thing is that you need to make it more alkaline if you put too much acid food in, like meat. So calcified seaweed, or eggshells, do the trick.
