Drum Mixer

Post: # 167053Post Doc »

Another simple use for a small drum - dry mixing small amounts of stuff.

The particular project was concreting 2 posts into the ground in one of the chook runs.

Mix all of your dry stuff in the drum.

Put the lid on and roll it to where you are working.

Pour on water and let it soak in.

Saves getting the mixer dirty :salute:

You could also use this technique to mix your own potting mix. Scarecrow uses Max the mixer because she does bulk mixing of her own potting mix, bless her :hugish:

keep on mixin' :thumbright:

Hey I'm famous in Australia - not only have I had Scottish piglets named after me but now there's 3 Aussie hens named after me too! :thumbright: :flower:
