Washing Machine Drum wood burner

Don't throw your old washing machine away. Go at it with a screwdriver and hammer and before long, you'll have a nifty wood burner.

I've seen this used and it's a good tip. We have a dryer that's bust that we are planning to do the same with. What can we do with the glass in the door though, it must be so good for something?

Mrs Flibble made a barbecue out of a drum. As for the glass door, how about an amazing centrepiece for the dinner (party) table full of fruit salad? It would be a talking point.

Ourold washer door glass became a dog bowl, but the current one is a weird, sloping shape, so not sure what we'll do when that dies :?

Make sure you wear some stout gloves as there's a certain amount of sharp plastic involved. My hands looked like I'd been wrestling with the cat.

What a brilliant idea - I must write it down...although now I have approved of it my machine will probably go on the blink, attention-seeking electronic ...necessity!
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!
