We have 6 free range hens and one cockeral which we are desperately trying to find a loving home for due to imminent move to France - unfortunately the french authorities won't let us take them over.
There are 6 brownies just turned age two which lay well (originally destined for the battery farm), and one cockeral, called Mac Dhui a bantam of similar age. They are used to free ranging over a fairly wide area, and are all real characters - we shall really miss them.
If you could offer them a good home, (preferably one where they won't end up in the pot!) we would be enormously grateful.
We are in the Lanarkshire area of Scotland, and they are free to a good home.
Hens and Cockeral looking for good home
Re: Hens and Cockeral looking for good home
I can't take them sadly, but I can get in touch with a group of small holders in the area... maybe one of them would take them?
