Hello there ,
so we are in one Europe ! ?
Just bought here in the weekend a few LED light at the LIDL store in Germany .
All where of 1 watt value and the fittings were GU10 , E14 and E 27 .Or something of that range .
And the price was 4.99€
Interesting to know what the other prices in europe will be , and of course our big brother in Brussels ]
has forbidden the normal bulbs , this seems to be the alternative .
The common producers will nerver ever offer them for such stupid low prices .
Let us know what the score is .
regards ,
Paul

Re: cheap led light
Now that is interesting.
Lidl have exactly the same range of LED bulbs here this week and they are €3.99 each.
So a German company is selling goods for a Euro cheaper here in one of their furthest outposts than they are in Germany.

Re: cheap led light
Hello Odsox ,
thats strange ,you'd think that here in Germany (80 million people) with a bigger market they would be cheaper.
Transport wise , they're probaly shipped in from china to rotterdam , would be the same distance.
Is it because germans could possibly spend more on alternative energy , or does lidl think irish have less?
That is what one europe is supposed to be about , prices differ alot.
A packet of 50 grams tobacco cost in holland 5 € , in ireland double?
