Re: Tahini
Not sure about whether it'll be ok, I'd like to know too! It makes a nice unusual salad dressing with a bit of water

Re: Tahini
Open it, sniff it, if it isn't mouldy or smells off, then use it. It's only a year out of date after all. I just cooked dinner last night using very out of date Thai red curry paste and a packet of coconut milk that was at least a year out of date too. Well I wouldn't know what 'off' red curry paste smelt like anyway given that it contains that lovely fermented shrimp paste
but it was all great and we are still alive today.

Re: Tahini
My experience is that tahini lasts for ages/ever. Only possibility is that the oil might go rancid - so just taste it.
Re: Tahini

Re: Tahini
If it was previously unopened ie still under vaccuum imo i wouldn't worry and use it , if opened smell and taste like the others said.

I love marmite and tahini on toast. We also gave it to our dog when she was a puppy to get extra calcium in her diet. It can also be used to make satay sauces similar ro peanut butter ones.
