fast bread recipe

made some loverly bread the other day. sweet potatoe cheese and cumin bread . cant quite remember where i got the recipe tho as i wrote it in my little "stolen recipes " book but it was very quick , easy and soooo nice and my flat mates devourd most of it in no time

recipe is
1 and 3/4 mugs self raising flour, 1 mug grated sweet potato( or butternut squash), 1/2 mug grated cheese, pinch salt, 2tsp cumin,2 eggs,1tbsp milk

heat oven to190c mix everything well into a sticky ball drop onto a greased baking sheet and add some more cheese on top bake in middle of oven for about 45 mins till bottom sound hollow when tapped . bingo nice spiced bread and lovely with butter

you could change the cumin for whatever herb/spice you like i suppose

i was nice not cakey or hard and the end bit stayed fresh for a couple of days in a warm ish cupboard
