Is anyone from here going? it has become a bit of a family tradition to go to it, which now involves dragging friends along too.

Hello, I'd looked at this but can't see if there is a charge to get in? Do you know? It's probably staring me in the face in big letters but just looked again and still can't see it :dontknow:

Probably pie in the sky as I bet OH will have to work but might be fun, my family are from near Oswestry which is on the way down for us and I always enjoy a visit down that way.

Good wishes, Jill :flower:

I am and staying over for the sunday night ... gone for years ... got to go this year as my greenman shopper is just about knackered and need a new one.

Jill there isn't a charge for street stuff and that included the fight on the bridge ... but there is a charge to get into the arean where there are craft stall, craftsmen, knights ... usually a couple of quidd ... if your going for the day there are usually carpaks setup on the ouskirts of the town ... I would recomend you use as a lot of the streets are closed and you will feel the wrath of the villagers if you park willy nilly espesially as they set up car parks ... oh and ITS A GREAT WEEKEND... no nothign to do with organising it ...

Looks like it's 3 quid to get into the craft bit (according to the Monday page of the programme section of the website).

Am hoping to go. Will be my first time - even though I've lived in Shropshire for 20 years now. Oh the shame

(I mean I'm ashamed at not having gone to the festival before, not ashamed about living in Shropshire!)
