Find a new bolt for my strimmer?
I've been a bit of a prat and dropped the reverse threaded bolt from my Ryobi petrol strimmer line holder and, despite a Met Police style fingertip search of the grass, have failed to find it!!! I've tried searching the web and scoured all our local DIY style stores but all to no avail. Any suggestions please?

Find Ryobi phone number and phone them direct...has worked for me with other manufacturer when I lost a smal but essential part of my cooker door! they did not even charge me for the part! Good luck

The cockerel makes the noise, the hen produces the goods!! anon

Or get yourself a cheapo metal detector, they cost not a lot from toy shop type places, or failing that you can get smaller ones in builders yards used for finding nails/pipes etc in walls.
You might even be able to hire one at a builders tool hire shop.

I have done something similar, I managed to find it beyond the area I was first searching with the aid of a huge magnet on the back of a old speaker.
