My wife's grandfather grows an abundant garden every year and graciously shares his produce with us. We have no problem eating the tomatoes, pole beans, and fresh greens--but the okra... the okra is different. The traditional ways to eat okra here in the southern States are boiled whole or fried. My wife won't eat boild okra, and we try not to eat fried food, so the okra piles up in the freezer.
Does anyone have a good recipe for a stew, curry, or other dish that can diminish my sockpile of okra?
Okra, Okra everywhere and all the boards did shrink
