Hi and welcome  - sorry about the unemployment but at least with that menagerie you can't be twiddling your thumbs wondering what to do with yourself all day as I should think they'd keep you busy!

Welcome to Ish, Matty

It made me breathless reading that long list - doesn't sound like you've got time for a job as well.

Have you thought about doing some training like woodworking (or something like that) so you could work for yourself - I'm guessing that jobs will get harder to come by in the next few months. Plus, working for yourself is a load more fun!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi from another Swindonite. What an Ishy place Swindon is becoming.

Starting up your own business isn't as difficult as you think. What are you good at? What do you enjoy? If you are good at making things why not just try selling a few bits at the Farmers' Market to see how it goes? Stroud Farmers' Market is the best one around here and it has a large craft section as well as food.

Good luck with the job hunting. Don't let it get you down. Enjoy your freedom you'll miss it for sure when you do go back to work.

Zoe

Welcome to ISH :flower:

Self-employment ideas: dog training classes, 'animal sitting' or similar? If you have a clean driving licence you could apply to the RSPCA. Seems to me it'd be a shame if you don't do something animal related.
