Thought I'd come and introduce myself and say Hello:iconbiggrin:

We live in the peaks, have several acres where we keep a variety of animlas, from horses, pigs, poultry, peacock etc. to dogs and cats  , am very interested in herbal uses and hope to pick up some tips

Hi and welcome! The peaks are beautiful, I've visited several times as my inlaws are the other side of the M1 in north Notts and we have some friends living there in an idyllic cottage in an idyllic village with views to die for. It's dry stone wall country which is so different from where I've ever lived. Bit windy though!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free

But damn it how happy we'll be!

ROFL I grew up in Notts & live in Leicester, so you'd think I'd know! I've just never know them refered to just as 'the peaks' always 'the peak district' and, as we have members from all over the world I thought you might be in New Zealand, or the foothill of the Hymalayers!
