Could be Tylopilus pseudoscaber or Tylopilus porphyrosporus.

Saw these by the side of the road today.
Not sure at all what they could be...
Some of them easily 25cm in diameter.
Too big for brittlecaps?

Could they be Clitocybe Maxima or Clitocybe Geotropa..
