There seem to be quite a lot of us from Somerset on here... I have a very small allotment in Glastonbury and couldn't be anything like self-sufficient from that. I just try to live as frugally as possible, sometimes going a bit mad and splurging out, and having several small jobs rather than one big one. I've had some very good ideas from this site including the hay box made with polystyrene. I put a Hello message on before but it seems to have disappeared into the ether :dontknow: . Hope it stays in place this time!

Oh how I wish I could say hello from Somerset - but hello from East London will have to do! Can't be self-sufficient either but thank goodness for the ish in Selfsufficientish! Welcome, hope you carry on picking up useful ideas here.
