Hi all

Post: # 236636Post tisme »

Hi
Although I'm nowhere near self sufficient I am making a go at it. This year I bought a polly tunnel and dug a vegetable patch. I keep chickens, ducks, geese, rheas and bees, so I do alright for eggs and honey. For a month or so I've been living on fresh salads, with so much more flavor, than that bought from supermarkets.
I really enjoy mushrooms and pick a few wild ones but want to learn a lot more about them, along with vegetables.
I don't have a lot of knowledge to pass on re plants but happy to share anything about bees and chickens.

Thanks for a great forum

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
