Mini Gastric Bypass

Post: # 237853Post Henwoman »

In case anyone's interested, I am having a mini gastric bypass on Friday, 15 July - this week - it's come round eventually. I have started a new blog to cover the operation and the year afterwards. http://minigastricbypass2011.blogspot.com Hopefully everything will go well on Friday and I will start to get rid of some of this so far immovable fat.

Wowweee, good luck, I hope it all goes smoothly, but more to the point I hope it brings health and happiness.

As a 'fattie' myself I have total sympathy for how tough actually being overweight is both on your body and your mind so I shall follow your progress with interest.

Here's hoping all goes well for you :hugish:

Bit of a delay now, as it is Bastille Day over here today and people tend to take a bridging day from this public holiday to the weekend, so that they get four straight days off work. Apparently the anaesthetists have done this at Yves le Foll hospital and there aren't enough available for Friday's operation. I'm now going in on Sunday and having the operation on Monday. Ah well - three days to eat a few more things I love! Thanks for all the supportive messages - much appreciated.
