true in part Dave but most people who riot and commit crime don't have any scruples anywaypelmetman wrote:You wont like this Russ.........But I think it might make people think twice about getting involved in rioting
If they resort to crime then lock them up.............I for one am fed up with our so called justice system which is soft on crime and soft on the causes of crime
I have little time for the professional excuse merchants who like to blame their up bringing for their crimes![]()

Yes again you are correct, but how do we stop these morons from ruining society for decent law abiding citizens,Dr.Syn wrote:So cut the benefits for criminals and immediately the families and children will suffer. I'm afraid that in the heat of the moment the last thing that will come to the minds of said criminals will be the consequences. In the bad old days of capital punishment there were still as many murders as there are now (in proportion to the population)
Eh?.............How did you get to that positionPaul_C wrote:to be honest this is a case yet again of demonising those who exist on benifits.
For genuine cases like yourself i can only agree. For the bloke who was on the tv the other night on £490 a week while perfectly well but complaining that he isnt getting enough i disagree. He earns more than me and i work MANY hours, night and day. The labour government made a mockery of the working man and while i agree there are many who cant work, the ones who can but refuse to (and there are many) should not be on more than any worker.Paul_C wrote:to be honest this is a case yet again of demonising those who exist on benifits.
the fact is that taking more money away fromt those who have very little after they comit a crime is simply going create a vicsiouse circle where people are going to be forced to steal for food. thats why the limit is set where it is.
i am on benifits due ot medical reasons, i dont forage for food for the fun of it, i do it for necessity. im lucky that i do enjoy it and that it helps me with some of my ailments. if i didnt take as much food from the wild as i do i wouldnt be able to eat. garnish my income by £25 a week and im starving.
what this country needs is Hope.
hope that there will be gainful and perminant employment which pays a decent wage
hope that kids can get a decent education without being forced to take on massive debts
hope that the government dont kick of yet another round of oil wars
hope that qactualy we get a democratic system which actualy listens to the electorate and not lobby groups
but that is in short supply.

Ah! - rich and low-cal varieties of Soylent Green.gregorach wrote:You mean the rich? Eat them. The Riff-Raff Element wrote:How to deal with people who are happy to profit from the generousity of society and are equally happy to pillage it?
Uh - I'm not sure about that, Dunc. I mean, Pippa Middleton's rump might be alright, but a casserole of Phillip Green or Rupert Murdoch could be pretty foul.gregorach wrote:You mean the rich?
