Far out man.
My daughter wants to breed pigs. We have been discussing it all week. We usually buy weaners and raise them to size and then replace... but she has decided she would like to breed instead. Still with a goal to filling our own freezer, but also produce on a small scale.
I will have to show her this. It's given me the heebie-jeebies. The current method works well, because we are never actually handling fullsize pigs, and I have a preference for manageable size when it comes to anything really... if I can't lift it or lead it, then I say bugger it.
Bloody ell, now I am all confused. Folks say things like that about billy goats too, and I always offer ours a healthy 'respect' when in the pen alone, but even if he decided to beat on me, I don't think he'd ever actually start EATING me!
I have to go to bed now... and this story has FREAKED ME RIGHT OUT!
Thanks for that, Stoney!
