greetings from east london

Post: # 26244Post the.cultivated.swedes »

Hi there, nice to meet you all. We are two very very cultivated swedes who joined a couple of days ago  we started growing veg in our back garden when our homesickness started to get to us a few years ago as we're used to lots of forests and nature back in Sweden. We're also on the local allotment waiting list but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. We love our seeds and always buy to many so please have a look at our seed swap suggestions under the swap section of the forum!

Hello again :))

I guess London must be a huge change from Sweden!!

Allotment lists seem to be very long these days - there should be more of them if demand is so huge.

Had a quick look at your website - are they your designs??

G;Day Swedes! and welcome to the forum!

If it's not personal, what made you move from Sweden to London?

hi hedgewith - thanks for the welcome!

and hi nev and g;day to you - just now reading up on your soya milk making method! we moved to london when i (gab) started studying art and johan just tagged along for a while, then gab finished and johan decided to do a degree in photography and after that we were just stuck -you know how it is..we've never really been big london fans, we just kind of stayed on. we're thinking of buying a country house in sweden so we can divide our time between the uk and sweden. the old country houses over there can be phenomenally affordable-especially when comparing with the crazy uk house prices!
