Picked my first baby courgette of the year! theres some lettuce /salad leaves about ready too

Honeysuckle flowers today. They're in the dryer for use later in pot pourri or hand cream.
First alpine strawberries today as well.

At least someone is enjoying this rather cold damp weather!!! I saw in a newspaper yesterday that we are likely to have similar weather for the next 3 months

Yeah - up here, we call it "summer"...

Just picked the first few loganberries and blackcurrants, which have been padded out with some gooseberries, blueberries and alpine strawberries for my muesli in the morning

First loganberry today, and a fistfull of elderflowers.

I'm a bit worried about the apples though. My two eaters don't seem to have any young fruit on them and I can only see one tiny little cooking apple. I can't see any baby quinces either which is also worrying.

Harvesting might be too strong a term but yesterday we picked our first ripe strawberry

I found the first of the ripe strawberries when we were down the plot netting them off yesterday. Back home t'other half found a couple of ripe alpine strawberries

She also had a fertle around under one of the early potato plants and found a couple of new spuds that went into our dinner later

Found one green cherry on the floor and after a massive search one cherry amongst 4 cherry trees - seems the frost killed the blossom this year, same with some but luckily not all of the apples.
The weather seems to delaying some crops but we have had bumper crops of broad beans, peas, mangetout and artichoke.

Fresh fruit Salad, with home grown Strawberries and Raspberries ( MMM I didn't cut back my autumn raspberries as I moved them, and they have fruited before the Summer ones!)

The most beautifully scented Roses, I adore them.

Blackcurrants within a week I reckon.

Rhubarb.

All the salad leaves & herbs are doing really well too.

In all that high wind there was a massive June drop on the apples and now I cant see any on the trees at all ho hum, and all my currants have made lovely leaves but no currants, on the upside it looks like I will need more demi johns for the plum wine
