I've used , and still do in the downstairs toilet, paper hand towel which then gets composted. The paper towel was free from a clearance and would have been chucked in a skip anyway so I can feel I'm doing my bit .
However, whatever you choose do be careful just what you throw down the toilet. Toilet paper is made to dissolve in water unlike newspaper and other stuff. I had the pleasant job recently of clearing a blockage in a drain , rods going in with a screw on the end and pulling out loads of baby wipes which definately shouldn't go down the bog!

could be worse...our ex-neighbours used to throw nappies down the toilet...quite how they got them to flush I don't know, but we knew when the grandchildren were visiting because our manhole had to be opened and rodded a few days later :?

Now there's a line I'm going to have to reuse!

And as I've just seen it on a re-run of QI, how about the neck of a swan (copyright Rabelais)?

Just looked at the number of views that this thread has got. Over twice the number of the next most popular thread. What does that say about us?
