Hi everyone!

Post: # 274909Post lifechanger »

Wow! eventually I've made it to the right place - fingers crossed (obviously an idiot needing an idiots guide).

Well, as you can see I'm new to this place and forums in general so wish me luck.

About myself - essentially I'm in the late stages of leaving employment and getting a smallholding. I've been researching over the last couple of years in an attempt to gain knowledge to be as ish as i can, although I'm much more of a learn on the job type of person. I think heaven just received a lot of raised eyes lol.
Anyway, I thought I'd give this forum a go to see if I could get some questions answered in a nice, gentle manner. Hopefully years down the road I might have the odd morsel of knowledge to pass on.

Hi, welcome to the forum. As long as you are prepared to learn and keep learning I am sure you will be fine, after all the worst thing that can happen is you end up in the same position as your average member of the public, working 9 to 5 and eating commercially produced food!

Hello there. We did it a year ago this month. Don't regret it one bit. We came to France to do it and the only downside is the bloody paperwork here! :banghead: More often than not however 10min with you chuck/pigs/ducks or veg will make it all seem worth while :flower: Good luck.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
