bags update

Post: # 27594Post Andy Hamilton »

Just to let everyone who has ordered a bag know.... I have emailed the bag people and asked when they will be ready as I thought they would be here by now. - The response was - They are arriving in the next few days so hopefully this means you will get your bag(s) early next week at the latest.

There are still quite a few left it you have missed out. Have a look here - to find out how to order. They will be a limited edition bag so who knows might triple in value in the next few years. (might not too  )

I was interested in the bags and the tshirts but I would really like to see a picture of them before I commit to buy. Have you any samples you could model and post a photo, Andy?

Ooh so I have a true and genuine limited edition teeshirt!!!! Wooohoooo will only wear on special occasions now then lol.

Is it still ok with you Andy - can we still use the logo and print our own??? Would be interesting to see a few variations... even handpainted ones or something?!

I'd like to make the logo into a knitting pattern - could I do that for a jumper, and give the pattern away for folks to knit their own? will understand if not, but thought I would ask. 8)

Luath, if you do make a knitting pattern (if Andy says it's OK of course) could you publish it here so I can make it too? It'd have to be quite big to get all the little letters readable so you'd have to make it in 4-ply on little needles to fit it on a jumper. Or I suppose you could do the flower and the "ish" in intarsia and then embroider the "Selfsufficient" on afterwards.

Yes, please, yes, please - I want to knit myself a SSish jumper, too! I don't mind thin yarm either - am planning to knit a proper Gansey with 5-ply, 2mm needles next. That yarn should be ideal for a pattern like this.

And where did I miss the patterns for knitted dishcloths?

And if anybody thinks of printing t-shirts - could I have one that's NOT white, please? Wore mine the other day - it's not a good idea to make a strawberry milkshake when you wear white. Or make tomato sauce, either... :?
