A great idea. I've been thinking of using raised beds in my polytunnel. I am going to mix sand in with my clay soil for next year's planting. I use that black plastic stuff over my plot, but I shall have to utilise something like cardboard as well, because I have cut great big holes in my black plastic so that the actual plants can grow thru :)
