Hello!!!

Post: # 31805Post perlipo »

Hi everyone,

I'm Cindy, I met Dave and Andy at Amit's party last week end, kept a note of their website, checked it out and found it very useful, so here I am!

I live in London, have a "garden", unfortunately it's not quite soil and my attempts at growing plants and lettuce have failed. I am gonna try growing everything in pots from now on :)
Any advice are welcome :geek:

ah, well remembered! - how you doing?

:welcomeish:

Potatoes in tyres is something I highly recomend having a go at, even in our north facing walled concreate back yard they have flourished. A big pot with some rosemary in it is also an idea. I have not had much luck with lettuces in pots either but I have with tomatoes, pepper plants, mint, sage and other herbs this year.

Hi, I'm in Ille et Vilaine about 30kms north of Rennes.

Do you like it in London? A bit different isn't it?!

@ Andy - I'm good thanks, slowly recovering from a heavy week end ;)
I'll try to get hold of old tyres and will let you how that go!

@ Camile - LOL!!

@ Millymollymandy - I visit Rennes nearly every time I go back home. London is certainly different, I find it hard to adapt myself and enjoy the urban life but then I suppose any capital city would be the same... I'm not planning on staying very long though, so I should survive (maybe one more year) :flower:
