You don't know the half of it! While living in Western Australia, my then boss (who was also prone to tinkering) came up with plans for a Fokker DVII of World War 1 vintage. We were seriously tempted to have a go at building our own.

Sadly, I decided to move to the UK instead... :roll:

Done a bit of tinkering myself, the most worrying stuff being with expedient explosives........

I used to own a crossbow, sadly they are illegal over here now.....

I'll have to keep an eye out for the Ecologist :wink:
