thank you for showing your photos, it looks like you had a lovely joyful start to your marriage. We've been married almost 18 years and are happier than ever!

We had a great day, it went so quickly but everyone had a lovely time! I thought I would 'lose it' walking down the aisle, but I suddenly felt all smiley and it was all the grannies and aunties snivveling in the seats behind me!

What a doll! I hadn't realised you had gone for the full blown wedding extravaganza with church and all. Cos you hadn't said anything recently I thought you had just snuck off down the registry office!

We did do the whole thing but all in one place. Ceremony, reception and evening do in a hotel. Easy, low cost etc.

I organised the whole day so it was kind of SSFish!

I forgot you can do this now in England! So much nicer than a registry office.

You Aussies/Kiwis/Americans don't know how lucky you are being able to get married in your own back yard!

Anyway that's kind of why we snuck off to Las Vegas - didn't want anything religious, but registry offices are a bit dull.

We're quite lucky in Glasgow, have a beautiful old building converted into a registry office, they've used nooks and anterooms to make smaller marriage rooms. They also have what used to be a ballroom I think set up to make a large room if you want to invite loads of people.

I think it used to be an italien centre.

And congratulations! About to go find the photos, I love weddings, so nice to share in the love and commitement they involve.

Awww you look amazing.
They are lovely photos - everyone looks so happy.
Many congratulations - that is fabulous.

We got married just before registrars could marry people outside registry offices so we had 2 weddings. The real wedding on the Saturday was performed by a friend of the family who did an amazing job. It obviously wasn't legal so on the Friday we went to the registry office - just us and immediate family and did the legal bit. It was a wonderful weekend.

You have an amazing smile - I think you would have looked stunning if you'd married in a black bin bag!
