Ey up from sunny Sheffield!

I'm a newbie to all this and not yet self sufficient. I have got a greenhouse off freecycle but it is lying in bits at the bottom of the garden at the moment.
We have recently started making our own wine and have got some blackberry vodka on the go as well! Hopefully by this time next year I will be self sufficient ish!

A bit about me, I'm 37, married with two young children and am a bit of a hippy on the quiet! :dave:

Helllllooo and :welcomeish:

A greenhouse from freecycle... wow, that's a great start!! We've got elderberries in the freezer ready to make into wine, and sloe gin on the go at the moment.

Looking forward to getting to know you!!

Sheffield... ooh been to a few nightclubs there in my time... and the 'frog and parrot' pub... I think that's the name...

Hi Motherearth
There's someone else here from the Rome of the north, Sue - I think.
I have some friends living in Burngreave -is that near you? The Frog snd Parrot, yeah I think I graced that establishment with my presence (circa Aug.'87).

The Frog and Parrot famed for it's lethal 'Roger and Out' beer! Burngreave is close to the city centre, so about 15 minutes away.

HI Earthmother, and welcome. It's great here - I'm really very new to all this sort of thing as well, and the advice from the lovely people here has proven invaluable :)
